Coming up fast is the Rocky Mountain Getaway (RMGA, or RUM-ga), which is an awesome opportunity to leave school behind for a weekend and get up into the beautiful Rocky Mountains and spend time with God and friends. We'll leave the afternoon of Friday, October 2nd and get back on Sunday afternoon.

I hope you had a wonderful summer. Up on the agenda is Freshmen welcome week, where Cru, FCA, IV, and FOCUS try to help get freshmen involved in the on-campus ministries available to them.

As you can see on the calendar, there's a lot of events happening, and most of them still need volunteers. If one of them stands out to you, email the person attached to the event and ask them about it.

I'm excited for this year; God is going to move in huge ways to bring the Gospel to Mines.

With the close of this year comes the graduation of a ton of seniors, and because of that, new faces next year. Next year we'll welcome Spencer Nelson as the new president of Mines Cru, as well as Evan Forbes as our new emcee for the weekly meeting. They will be taking over for Brian Ramsey and Nathan Valentin, respectively, whom we will be sad to see step down.
